The Premedical Programs at University of Dayton provide a comprehensive approach towards entry into professional schools of...

Over the past ten years the University of Dayton's graduates have gained admission to health professional schools at an approximate average rate of 75%. 

The Premedical Program Office

The Premedical Program office offers a range of services and advising for students interested in careers in health care.  The Premedical Advisory Committee acts as both primary advisors to students majoring in Premedicine or Predentisty and secondary advisors to other majors.     

Medical School Acceptances

The MED/DEN Major

The University of Dayton offers a degree in both Premedicine (MED) and Predentisty (DEN).  These majors provide a broad-based scientific and humanities curriculum which satisfies the typical entry requirements of post-undergraduate health care training programs.

The Ohio Eta Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED)

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the national Premedical Honors Society.  As an Honor Society, admission is based upon a students academic record and on their demonstrated motivation toward health care.  The Ohio Eta Chapter offers both service and social activities for it's members.
