Rounded Rectangle: Registration Rounded Rectangle: Speakers Rounded Rectangle: Schedule Rounded Rectangle: AnnouncementText Box: The University of Dayton/Miami Valley Hospital Health Care Symposium is a unique opportunity for UD students, alumni and local physicians to come together for a day of dialogue and continuing education. The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. Harold Koenig. The title of his presentation is ÒReligion, spirituality and medicine: research and clinical applicationsÓ. This yearÕs symposium will offer two simultaneous tracks. The first track titled ÒAre You Ready for PCMHÓ will include national, state and local leaders and experts in PCMH who will discuss lessons learned in implementing PCMH and provide opportunities for dialogue with the audience regarding the practicalities in implementing PCMH. The second track is titled ÒMeaning in Medicine: Exploring Connections between Medicine and SpiritualityÓ will feature local medical educators Dr. Philip Diller and Dr. Evangeline Andarsio who along with keynote speaker Dr. Koenig will discuss the role of spirituality in both the physicianÕs professional practice and the patientÕs medical experience.
